MY STORY
When I was a little girl my grandmother bought me a Singer Featherweight Sewing Machine. My grandmother was a seamstress and I said I was never going to be a seamstress!
My little black sewing maching sat in its box for years... Then one day, for some reason, I had this irresistible urge to sew. I sat down at a table in my living room, having never touched a machine before, threaded it and started to sew. At first, I thought it was just a passing phase, but soon I discovered that I couldn’t stop, and the fabric store became my best friend.
When my grandmother found out I was sewing everything on my little machine, she upgraded me to one of her favorite machines (she had four!) and that’s the machine I use to this day. She told me, “It’s in your blood!” I think she was right.
